Oh, how heartening to read the news of the snow leopard population rebounding. And that video! Gorgeous! Thank you for that and the rest of this compilation. I especially love the last line of that Brian McLaren quote. "And perhaps, as we are inspired by grief to eulogize what is being lost, we will also be inspired by love to save all we can still save." Yes! I had the honor of being interviewed by Brian on his podcast last year as he was promoting Life After Doom. What a treat!
Thank you for sharing the news and video of the snow leopard, Rebecca. To know there are still such places and stories of recovery is always appreciated. And thank you for sharing my work and that of the extraordinary Martyn Stewart.
Thank you so much, Rebecca, for this amazing compilation of Nature news, events, and resources. I will take some time this weekend to browse thoroughly, and especially to take a look at the work of my fellow new substackers. I would just like to mention that I changed the title of my publication slightly, from The Blue Hour to NATURE'S BLUE HOUR, partly because I discovered there were quite a few Blue Hour pubs, but mostly because I wanted to make clear that the focus of mine is the natural world and our place in it. Thanks again for all your hard work in compiling this issue and for championing Nature!

Oh my, two wise souls in conversation. I will look it up! I thought Life After Doom was just wonderful.
Brian is an amazing person! Conversing with him was a true delight. Here's the link: https://cac.org/podcasts/seeing-nature-as-a-scientist-part-2-with-susan-j-tweit/
Thank you! Can’t wait to listen. :)

Thank you so much, Rebecca, for including Cricklewood Nature Journal and the 21-Days of activity on Notes! I so appreciate you!
Thanks for the shout out about my book Seattle Walks. Honored to be included with this fine group of writers.
